Experience living tradition, vibrant culture, and true customs at the St. Anton Village Festival 2026! From July 17 to 19, the village centre of St. Anton am Arlberg transforms into a lively festival mile filled with traditional music, regional specialties, and authentic Tyrolean customs. 

A highlight of the festival is the traditional parade, where numerous local clubs and groups proudly showcase centuries-old Tyrolean customs in their magnificent traditional attire. Accompanied by lively brass music and captivating folk dances, the cultural diversity of the region is celebrated in full splendor. 

Alongside musical and dance performances, the festival offers a culinary journey through Tyrolean tradition. 

The St. Anton Village Festival is a tribute to Tyrolean tradition, bringing to life the rich cultural heritage and customs of the region. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the Tyrolean Alps, this festival ist an unforgettable experience for both visitors and locals.

Arlberg Giro

150 kilometres long with a gruelling ascent of 2,500 metres in altitude – just the basic details of the Arlberg Giro extern make one thing unmistakably clear: Whoever competes in this race has to fight like a pro. Participants need courage, strength and an iron will to overcome this route from St. Anton over the Arlberg Pass, through Bludenz, Montafon, Silvretta, Paznauntal Valley and back to St. Anton.

Big Tent Festival

The Musikkapelle St. Anton am Arlberg invites you to the traditional marquee festival in St. Anton am Arlberg from August 7 to 9, 2026 – a celebration full of tradition and local customs.
In a festive atmosphere, visitors can look forward to a varied program featuring musical and cultural highlights. On Sunday, a traditional mass is held in the festival tent. A special highlight is the grand parade, where marching bands, rifle companies, and delegations in magnificent uniforms and traditional costumes make their way through St. Anton am Arlberg.

30th Mountain Movie Festival

The Film Festival St. Anton – a hub for the scene since 1995.
For three decades, we have been celebrating alpine and outdoor cinema with a strong European focus, providing a public platform for independently produced films in the field of mountain and adventure sports.
From its beginnings in 1995 to today, the Film Festival St. Anton has become an essential meeting point for the community – a place where filmmakers, athletes, and mountain enthusiasts come together to share their passion for the mountains.

14. Arlberg herb festival

On 15 August, the annual "Arlberg Herb Festival" takes place at the Sennhütte. This year they are celebrating 14 years of the Arlberg Herb Festival at the Sennhütte!
Every year, numerous visitors come to the Sennhütte and there are always lots of great things on the programme: herbal consecration, making herbal salt/bath salts, smoking with herbs, baking herbal bread, ...
In addition, there is interesting information about the history of herbal consecration and Kneipp therapy with herbs. Every visitor will receive a handmade herb bush from us, which was blessed by our parish priest at the Sennhütte!

Arlberger Wadlbeisser

On August 29, 2026, the obstacle race “Arlberger Wadlbeisser” in St. Anton am Arlberg challenges participants with a demanding course through the village and its surroundings.
Under the motto “sightseeing the hard way,” athletes tackle a varied route featuring panoramic views and local highlights—while overcoming obstacles like climbing walls, water basins, balance elements, and more. Accompanied by music, moderators, and cheering spectators, participants push their limits. Those looking for a more relaxed experience can join the “Just for fun” category as a team.
